Scotty is an improviser, multi-instrumentalist and composer. At the age of 19 he joined the Friwi Sternberg Quintet as a vibraphonist. In the present he plays in duo with Friedbert Wissmann or Ulrich Thiem and changes between piano, vibraphone, pipe organ, synthesizer and electric fretless bass. On piano and organ Scotty plays improvised solo concerts too. When the wall came down he had several opportunities to play with New York drummer Lou Grassi and saxophonist Mack Goldsbury from El Paso/Texas. Scotty’s musical work took him to many foreign countries of Europe, and one can hear him on a lot of CDs.
